Columbia, Mo. – The Columbia College eSports Program officially announced today the first ever signing to the program by Connor Doyle. Connor will join the Cougars and begin classes in August.
Artemis, as he is known in the League of Legends (LoL) game, is from Winthrop, Maine and graduated from Winthrop High School where he was a three sport captain in soccer, basketball and baseball. Following high school, Doyle attended Colby College where he is currently the captain of their LoL team.
Dolye is a Marksman, shot caller and primary carry for amateur team GSP eSports. He is currently ranked in the top 0.1 percent of all LoL players and ranked #10 Kalista and #12 Lucian out of all players on the North American server.
"Connor is well liked among his peers and his leadership will carry the team far," said Cougar head coach Duong Pham. "He will be the asset Columbia College needs for a successful season.
