The Cougars responded quickly to the runs from Christian Brothers University and scored six unanswered runs over the next three innings to take a 6-2 lead in the game. The Buccaneers did their best to get back into the contest and scored one run in the bottom of the seventh but it wasn't enough as the Cougars were able to close them out and pick up their third win of the season.
