Clermont, Fla. – This afternoon the Columbia College softball team was back on the diamond when they faced off against LSU- Alexandria (La.) in the 2017 NAIA Softball World Series.

Due to poor weather conditions, the game was suspended with one out in the bottom of the fifth inning with the Generals leading by a score of 5-1. The game is scheduled to resume play tomorrow, June 1^st at 8 a.m. CDT. The winner will then play a second game tomorrow against Corban (Ore.) University at 9 a.m. CDT.

Depending on the field the game resumes play on, there may not be live video feed for tomorrow's contest. However, live stats can be viewed here.
