Columbia, Mo. – The Columbia Cougar men's basketball team was back on the court tonight as they hosted the Westminster (Mo.) College Blue Jays in a nonconference matchup. The Cougars defeated the Blue Jays by a final score of 94-77 and are now 2-2 on the season.
The Cougars brought their momentum from their first win of the season on Tuesday to the court tonight as they went on a 13-9 run to start the game. Columbia had a great showing in the first half shooting 57 percent from the field while holding the Blue Jays at just 36 percent from the field.
Columbia stayed dominant in the second half with their biggest lead being 20 points to secure the victory.
