Des Moines, Iowa— The Columbia College women's soccer team took the field tonight as they faced the Grand View University Vikings in Des Moines, Iowa for a non-conference matchup. The Cougars were victorious with a final score of 1-0. Columbia improves to 3-1 on the season.
The Cougars didn't waste much time erasing their goose egg from the board as
Kelsey Mirts put them up 1-0 just about five minutes into the game. Columbia stayed locked in throughout the match as they continued to fend off the Vikings. Despite the Vikings 16 shots, 12 of which were on goal, they were unable to get on the board as the Cougars secured the 1-0 shutout.
Victoria Heus was in goal tonight for the Cougars as she tallied 12 saves in the win.

th in Siloam Springs, Arkansas where they face 13
th ranked John Brown University at 7:30 p.m.
