Columbia, Mo. – The 12th ranked Columbia College women's basketball team hosted the Lindenwood (Ill.) University-Belleville Lynx in an AMC matchup today. The Cougars defeated the Lynx, 62-48 and are now 11-3 and 7-1 in conference play.
Columbia jumped on the board from the start as they held an eight point lead at the end of the first quarter. The Cougars kept their momentum up in the second quarter as they headed into the locker room doubling Lindenwood's score.
Although the Lynx were able to outscore the Cougars in both the third and fourth quarter, Columbia had a large enough lead to claim the victory over Lindenwood-Belleville.
