St. Louis, Mo. – The 12
th ranked women's basketball team added another conference win to the season today when they traveled to St. Louis, Missouri to compete against St. Louis College of Pharmacy. The Cougars defeated the Eutectics by a final score of 91-54 and are now 12-3 on the season and 8-1 in conference play.
The Cougars went to work right off the bat stopping the Eutectics at just six points while they scored 10 unanswered points. Columbia finished the first quarter with a 13-point lead which they capitalized on in the second quarter extending their lead by five points at the break.
Columbia connected well with the basket scoring 25-points in the third quarter while the Eutectics made an effort to catch up to the Cougars, but Columbia kept raking up the baskets to claim the win.
