Columbia, Mo. – Tonight the Columbia College men's basketball team hosted Lincoln College in a nonconference matchup. The Cougars defeated the Lynx 94-84 in overtime and are now 9-7 on the season.
 
Lincoln College had the lead the majority of the first half up until the final five minutes of play when Adam Mennemeyer's three-pointer put Columbia in the lead. The Lynx stayed close to the Cougars after that until they managed to regain the lead before the end of the first half.
 
In the second half, the Lynx stayed strong offensively as they had their biggest lead of the game, 12-points, just five minutes into the second half. The Cougars crept their way back into the game when Jorge Bueno hit back-to-back three's to give Columbia the lead. In the final seconds of regulation, Lincoln tied the game to send it into overtime.

The Cougars showed up in the final five minutes of the contest outscoring their opponent 18-8 to claim the victory.
