Columbia, Mo. - The 15
th ranked Columbia College women's basketball team took on the Park (Mo.) University Pirates in AMC match up this afternoon. The Cougars were victorious against the Pirates by a final score of 91-43. Columbia is now 18-4 on the season and 14-2 in conference play.

Park got the early lead on the Cougars, putting the first basket on the board but five lead changes later Columbia took control of the game with an 8-2 run. The Cougars continued their aggressive offense to rack in a 20-3 scoring run. Columbia took a 27-point advantage into the locker rooms with a half time score of 48-21.

Pirates went point for point with the Cougars to open the third quarter but Columbia's defense held the visitors scoreless the last four minutes of the quarter. The Cougar lead was too much for Park in the fourth quarter as Columbia claimed the victory.

It was a total team effort as every player in the line-up today contributed to the win with at least a two-points each. Â
Clare Shetley hit her career high in points scored, scoring 19.
