Belleville, Ill. – Today the Columbia College men's basketball team traveled to Belleville, Illinois to take on the Lindenwood-Belleville Lynx in an AMC matchup. The Cougars were victorious against the Lynx with a final score of 77-66. The Cougars are now 18-9 on the season and 13-6 in the conference play.
The Lynx started the half with their claws out to take the early lead. The Cougars fought back to tie the game with a 13-2 run to take back the edge and led 37-27 at the break.
Columbia had a big push out of the locker room, creating a 24-point advantage over Lindenwood-Belleville. The Lynx tried to pull themselves out, but the overpowering Cougar offense gave them the win.
