Columbia, Mo. – The men's basketball team hosted the St. Louis College of Pharmacy (Mo.) Eutectics in an AMC contest tonight. Columbia had a tough matchup as the Eutectics bounced back in the second half to defeat the Cougars 76-71. Columbia is now 18-10 on the season and 13-7 in conference play.
The Cougars silenced the Eutectics early in the first half making all but three of their free throws which aided in their 24-6 run to end the half with an 11-point advantage.
The Eutectics came back from the locker room in the zone, going on an 18-8 run to take the lead. The Cougars managed to stay neck-and-neck with the Eutectics as tensions rose on the court but Columbia could not get their shots to fall, leaving St. Louis College of Pharmacy to take the win.

The Eutectics did not miss a field goal in the first ten minutes of the second half to run away with the win.
