Dalton Bealmer got the Cougars rolling early in the first with a three-run homerun. (CC-3, CSC-0)
B1 (CSC) – A Wildcat hit a solo shot on a full count to get Culver-Stockton on the board. (CC-3, CSC-1)
B4 (CSC) – Two hits from Culver-Stockton and a balk from the Columbia pitcher gave the Wildcats their first lead. (CC-3, CSC-4)
T5 (CC) – Bealmer hit a dinger, his second of the day, to center field followed by a double that brought a total of three Cougars home to give Columbia the two-run advantage. (CC-6, CSC-4)

T1 (GU) – Graceland hit a bomb to start the game. (CC-0, GU-1)
B1 (CC) – Columbia responded with a two-run homerun to take the lead. (CC-2, GU-1)
B2 (CC) – A stolen base and a Yellow Jacket wild pitch from the pitcher sent a Cougar to home plate. (CC-3, GU-1)
T3 (GU) – Two hits and a Cougar wild pitch scored two for Graceland to tie the game. (CC-3, GU-3)
B3 (CC) – Columbia responded with a hit to round a Cougar home. (CC-4, GU-3)
T4 (GU) – Columbia struggled with their pitching in the fourth which led to four Yellow Jackets scoring. (CC-4, GU-7)
B4 (CC) – The Cougars bounced back collecting five runs off of three hits and two Graceland errors. (CC-9, GU-7)

Turning Point Game 1
Columbia added two runs in the eight while striking out two Wildcat batters and caught a fly ball to end the inning with the victory.

Turning Point Game 2
Riley Poulton's speed was too much for the Yellow Jackets to handle in the 5
th as he stole base and then put himself in scoring position on a Graceland wild pitch and then scored the run on a hit to left field.

Individual Leaders Game 1
Bealmer led the way for Columbia with two hits in four at bats for 5 RBI and two runs scored.

Individual Leaders Game 2
Connor Gage had three RBI in his three hits in four at bats and scored a run while Jarett Newell had a hit in three at bats while scoring two runs and added two RBI to help Columbia claim the win.

The Cougars will be back on the field on Tuesday, February 25 when they host their home opener against Lincoln College with first pitch set at 3 p.m. The location of the game will be determined on a later date due to field conditions.
