The Scoring - Game 1
T1- (CC) Carli Buschjost started the Cougars with a single to short. A sacrifice bunt by Skyler Kauble and a ground out from Mackenzie Kasarda put Buschjost in scoring position. A single to center by Allison Keen brought in the first run. (CC-1, TXWU- 0)
T3 - (CC) Buschjost singled to left, Kauble doubled to left to bring in Buschjost. Jacey Meyer followed with a single to short before Kasarda knocked in another run. (CC-3, TXWU-0)
B3- (TXWU) Two hits and a pair of errors by the Cougars allowed a single Ram run to score. (CC-3, TXWU-1)
B5 - (CC) Buschjost started on the inning with a walk and a stolen base before being sacrificed over to third. She would score a batter later when Kasarda's squeeze bunt was successfully laid down. (CC-4, TXWU-1)

The Scoring - Game 2
B1 - (CC) Carli Buschjost and Skyler Kauble reached base via walks. A sacrifice bunt by Mackenzie Kasarda put both runners in scoring position. A single to left by Jacey Meyers brought in the first run of the game. (CC- 1, DC-0).
T2- (DC) The Tigers got on their feet, connecting for four hits, scoring five and left two on-base. (CC-1, DC- 5)
B3- (CC) Buschjost singled to left and the double by Skyler Kauble scored the run. Jacey Meyer's single to short would score Kauble. (CC-3, DC- 5) 
T5 - (DC) A walk and a hit tacked on another one for Doane. (CC-3, DC- 6) 
B5 - (CC) Three walks, two hits and an error would give the Cougars four runs and allow them to re-take the lead. (CC-7, DC- 6) 
T6 - (DC) A pair of hits knocked in a pair of runs, giving Doane a one-run advantage. (CC-7, DC- 8) 
B7 - (CC) Karolina Arbova reached on a walk and would come around to score and send the game into extra innings. (CC-8, DC- 8)
T11 - (DC) Scored their International tie breaker runner after a sacrifice bunt and a single to left. (CC-8, DC -9)
B11 - (CC) Kasarda was moved into scoring position by a sacrifice fly to right and scored on an error by the Tigers. (CC- 9, DC-9)
T12 - (DC) Scored their international tie breaking runner again from a sacrifice bunt and a single to center. (CC-9, DC-10)
B12 - (CC) Elizabeth Schimpf was hit by the pitch and after a sacrifice bunt by Buschjost moved both runners into scoring position. Avgustina Arbova would score on a wild throw and with the bases loaded, Allison Keen was hit by the pitch which plated the winning run. (CC-11, DC-10)
 
Game 1 Turning Point.
Lexi Dickerson and Madison Ramsey combined for a dominating performance on the mound, allowing just four hits and giving up zero walks in seven innings.

Game 2 Turning Point
Down three runs in the bottom of the fifth, Jacey Meyer delivered the game tying hit that platted Kauble, Kasarda and Boyer to tie up the game.  

Game 1 Individual Leaders
Lexi Dickerson got the win on the mound. The Cougars had 10 hits, including two apiece from Carli Buschjost, Allison Keen and Jacey Meyer

Game 2 Individual Leaders
Kaitlyn Nottelmann relieved Madison Ramsey and threw 8.1 innings. The duo combined for eight strikeouts.  Jacey Meyer's three-hit and five RBI performance led the Cougars. Buschjost and Kasarda scored three runs each in the win.

Up Next
The Cougars return to the field Friday, February 21st when they travel to Springfield, Missouri to compete in the Queen City Bash. They will start the weekend against the Evangel University Crusaders at 1:00 p.m.
