Hannibal, Mo. – The Columbia College women's basketball team pushed its win-streak to four-games with another dominating performance defeating Hannibal-LaGrange, 75-44. The game took place at the Mabee Sports Complex in Hannibal, Mo.
The Cougars got off to a fast start, scoring the game's first seven points. The Trojans scored the next eight points, taking the 8-7 lead, but Columbia ended the quarter on a 13-2 run and led, 20-10, at the end of the first.
In the second quarter, the Cougars extended their lead out to 15-points, as
Mallory Shetley hit one of her two three-pointers, giving Columbia the 28-13 advantage. After a bucket by HLGU, Shetley followed with two more points which started a 17-4 run and giving Columbia the 45-19 lead at the break.
The second half was no contest, as the Cougar lead reached the 30-point plateau with 3:50 remaining at 55-25.
Columbia's biggest lead of the game came with 2:01 remaining, when
Abby Backes made a basket, putting the Cougars up 75-43.

52-41 – The Cougars won the rebound battle, 52-41, including a career-high 12 rebounds by
Kamryn Mennemeyer.
24/46 – Columbia had 24 points off turnovers and 46 points in the paint.
22/17 – The Cougars defense showed up again, forcing 22 turnovers and picking up 17 steals.
