Cougars Win Two; Sweep Four-Game Series

Columbia, Mo. - The Columbia College baseball team swept their second-straight doubleheader against Harris-Stowe. The Cougars won all four games against the Hornets.

Kenny Piper scored the first run on an error, and Justin Randle singled home Brad Prebay (CC 2, HSSU 0)

Game 1 Individual Leaders
Mark Haire tossed a complete-game, striking out seven and allowing just one earned run and three hits. Riley Poulton led the offense with four RBIs, while Kellen Williamson had three hits. 

Game 2 Individual Leaders
Luke Miller got the win, tossing 2.1 innings in relief, allowing just one hit. Conner Darnell picked up the save, pitching a perfect top of the ninth with a strikeout. Offensively, the Cougars were led by Dalton Bealmer's 4-for-5 performance, while JP Schneider had a team-high two RBIs.
