An error by the Owls and two runs by the Cougars gave Columbia what they needed in the 9-6 victory.
Game 1 Individual Leaders
Chris Wall pitched 5.2 innings earning the win along with help from Conner Darnell, who picked up the save. Wall struck out nine while allowing four runs off eight hits. Justin Randle led the Cougars with three hits and one RBI, while Brad Prebay provided two hits and one RBI.
Game 2 Individual Leaders
Jake Deakins took the win, tossing 3.1 innings, allowing four hits and four runs while striking out three. Hayden Ludwing and Kendrick Delima each contributed two hits and two RBI's for the Cougars. Dalton Bealmer also recorded three hits and one RBI for Columbia.
