Columbia, Mo. - The Columbia College baseball team defeated Morningside (Iowa), 5-4, completing the three-game sweep. The win marked win No. 500 in the career of head coach Darren Munns.

T1 (MC) – The Mustangs scored two runs on an error and a wild pitch (CC-0, MC-2)
T3 (MC) – Morningside added to its lead with a solo home run (CC-0, MC-3)
B4 (CC) – Dalton Bealmer got the Cougars on the board with a two-run home run. Justin Randle scored the tying run on a squeeze play by Tegan Woods. (CC-3, MC-3)
T5 (MC) – The Mustangs regained the lead on an RBI single. (CC-3, MC-4)
B8 (CC) – The Cougars took their first lead of the game on Bealmer's second two-run home run of the game. (CC-5, MC-4)

Turning Point
Dalton Bealmer's second two-run home run of the game proved to be the game-winner.  

Individual Leaders
Luke Miller picked up the win, pitching two innings, striking out two and did not allow a run. Conner Darnell earned the save after tossing the ninth inning and stranding the bases loaded. Dalton Bealmer led the Cougars with two hits and four RBIs.
