Columbia, Mo. – The Columbia College baseball team split their doubleheader this afternoon against Missouri Baptist. The Cougars improve to 23-6 on the season and 12-4 in the American Midwest Conference (AMC).

T3 – Missouri Baptist added to their lead producing one run. (CC 0, MBU 3)
B3 – The Cougars recorded their first four runs of the game while taking the lead with hits from Kenny Piper and Kendrick Delima. (CC 4, MBU 3)
T4 – The Spartans put two more runs on the board off two doubles. (CC 4, MBU 5)
B4 – A single from Kenny Piper followed by a hit from Brad Prebay brought another run for the Cougars, tying it up. (CC 5, MBU 5)

B1 – Columbia produced the first run of the game off hits by Kenny Piper and Dalton Bealmer. (CC 1, MBU 0)

T3 – Missouri Baptist kept their bats alive, bringing in three runs along with four hits. (CC 1, MBU 4)
T5 – A first-pitch home run by Kyle O'Brien extended the Spartan lead. (CC 1, MBU 5)

Game 1 Individual Leaders
Kendrick Delima led Columbia with two hits and two RBI's. Kole Ficken, Kellen Williamson, and Kenny Piper recorded two hits and one RBI for the Cougars. Conner Darnell earned the win, tossing one inning, allowing one hit and one run.

Game 2 Individual Leaders
Dalton Bealmer led the Cougars with two hits and two RBI's, while Justin Randle and David Dell produced two hits.
