Hannibal, Mo. – The Columbia College baseball team defeated Hannibal-LaGrange, sweeping the doubleheader on Friday afternoon.

T7 – Kenny Piper reached base on an error, advanced to third on another error and scored on Dalton Bealmer's RBI single. (CC 1, HLGU 0)

The Scoring – Game 2T1 – Kendrick Delima hit a two-run home run over the left-field fence. (CC 2, HLGU 0)

Game 1 Turning Point
The Trojans had a leadoff triple in the fifth, but Chris Wall picked up a strikeout, ground out to second and a fly out to left, stranding the runner at third.

Game 2 Turning Point
The Cougars scored four runs in the first two innings.

Game 1 Individual Leaders
Chris Wall earned the win on the mound, tossing seven innings with 13 strikeouts and allowing just three hits. Dalton Bealmer had the lone Cougar hit.  

Game 2 Individual Leaders
JP Schneider earned the win, going six innings on the mound, allowing one earned run and striking out four. Justin Randle, Jarrett Newell and Kole Ficken recorded three hits each.
