St. Louis, Mo. – The Columbia College softball team earned another doubleheader sweep, defeating Missouri Baptist on Monday afternoon.
With the two wins, the Cougars have secured the No. 1-seed in the American Midwest Conference (AMC) postseason tournament and have clinched at least a share of the AMC Regular-Season title.

The Cougars had nine hits, led by Mackenzie Kasarda, who had two hits. Carli Buschjost led the team with two RBIs. Lexi Dickerson went seven innings in the circle, striking out four and allowed one unearned run.
Game 2 Individual Leaders
Alyssa Roll went the distance in the circle with seven strikeouts and allowed just two hits. Kaylie Kaufman and Skyler Kauble led the team with two hits each, while Carli Bushjost added a game-high two RBIs. As a team, the Cougars went 4-for-4 in stolen bases.
