Columbia, Mo. - The Columbia College softball team increased their winning streak to 13-straight, sweeping their doubleheader against Central Baptist (Ark.). The Cougars move to 17-5 on the season and 5-0 in the American Midwest Conference (AMC).

B8 (CC) – Kacy Bergfeld singled on a misplayed grounder followed by a sacrifice bunt by Mackenzie Karsarda. A wild pitch allowed Bergfeld to advance to third and scored on a fielder's choice hit by Allison Keen. (CC 1, CBC 0)
Game 1 Turning Point
Three runs and two hits in the bottom of the fifth allowed the Cougars to come up on top, 4-1.
Game 2 Turning Point
The Mustangs had the go-ahead run on second base in the fifth inning, but Alyssa Roll got a ground out to short to end the inning and keep the game tied.
Game 1 Individual Leaders
Lexi Dickerson went the distance in the circle, pitching seven innings, allowing seven hits and striking out six. Kacy Bergfeld, Makenzie Karsada, Avgustina Arbova, Karolina Arbova, and Carli Buschjost each recorded a hit for the Cougars. Bergfeld also had two RBI's.
Game 2 Individual Leaders
Alyssa Roll earned the win, tossing eight innings, allowing three hits and striking out six. Carli Buschjost, Konnor Arrowood, Kaylie Kaufman, Avgustina Arbova, Mackenzie Karsada, and Taylor Barnes each contributed one hit for Columbia.
