Columbia, Mo. - The Columbia College softball team increased their winning streak to 15-straight, sweeping their doubleheader against William Baptist (Ark.). The Cougars move to 19-5 on the season and 7-0 in the American Midwest Conference (AMC).

The Scoring - Game 2
B1 (CC) - Taylor Barnes reached on a walk, later scoring on Mackenzie Kasarda's single to deep left-center. Kasarda moved to second on a walk, advanced to third on a stolen base and scored on an Avgustina Arbova sacrifice fly to right. Kaylie Kaufman singled to left-center, scoring Emily Dove. Karolina Arbova singled to third, bringing home Kaufman. Carli Buschjost added an RBI double down the right-field line, scoring both Kauble and Arbova. (CC 6, WBU 0)

Taylor Barnes was able to get on base and in scoring position for Mackenzie Kasarda. Both runs were scored and by the duo of Barnes and Karada.

The Cougars were able to get on the board, scoring six runs in the first inning.
Game 1 Individual Leaders
Lexi Dickerson earned the win, tossing seven innings, allowing three hits and striking out 10. Mackenzie Kasarda contributed two RBIs. Taylor Barnes, Kacy Bergfeld, Mackenzie Kasarda, Allison Keen, Avgustina Arbova, and Karolina Arbova had two hits each.
Game 2 Individual Leaders
Alyssa Roll went to stride in the circle, pitching seven innings, allowing six hits and striking out two. Mackenzie Kasarda, Allison Keen and Kaylie Kaufman added two hits each.
