Columbia, Mo. – The Columbia College softball team extended their win-streak to 17 with a doubleheader sweep against Stephens (Mo.).

After a two-out walk to Mackenzie Kasardsa, Allison Keen hit a two -run home run (CC 2, SC 0)
T2 (CC) –
Carli Buschost reached on an error and later scored on a Taylor Bares inside the park home run. (CC 4, SC 0)

Allison Keen hit her second homer of the game. (CC 5, SC 0)
T4 (CC) –
Kacy Bergfield hit a sacrifice fly (CC 6, SC 0)
T5 (CC) –
The Cougars added six runs in the fifth inning with RBI hits from Kaylie Kaufman, Karolina Arbova, Carli Buschjost and Mackenzie Kasarda (CC 12, SC 0)

Game 1 Individual Leaders
Lexi Dickerson pitched a complete-game four hit shutout and striking out five. Allison Keen had three hits and three RBIs. Taylor Barnes, Mackenzie Kasarda and Carli Buschjost had two hits and two RBIs each.

Game 2 Individual Leaders
Avgustina Arbova led the team with a game-high three hits. Taylor Barnes, Mackenzie Kasarda, Allison Keen and Kaylie Kaufman added two hits apiece. Keen batted in two runs. Alyssa Roll picked up the win, tossing four hits, allowing one unearned run and striking out four.
