Columbia, Mo- The Columbia College women's volleyball team advances to the American Midwest Conference (AMC) Women's Volleyball Tournament Semifinals after knocking off the No. 6-seed Lyon (Ark.) Scots in the semifinals. The Cougars are now 15-6 on the season.

Set 1: Columbia 25 | Lyon 16
After Lyon jumped out to a 3-1 lead, the Cougars tied the score and added 10-straight points taking control of the set, highlighted by three service aces from Ellie Rockers. The Scots worked their way back, bringing the deficit down to 14-7, but the Cougars kept control of the set.
Set 2: Columbia 25 | Lyon 11
The Cougars took the early 2-1 lead, trading point for point with the Scots. Columbia held a slight 10-7 advantage before scoring 15 of the final 20 points. Columbia led as many as 13 in the set. The Cougars used five key kills from both Ellie Crede and Sidney Branson to clinch the set.
Set 3: Columbia 25 | Lyon 15
In the final set, the Cougars came out strong, scoring six of the first eight points. An eight-point scoring run pushed the Cougars lead to 14-3. The Cougars continued their domination holding their lead over nine points to take the set.
