St. Louis, Mo. – The No. 20-ranked Columbia College volleyball team pushed their win streak to nine games with a 3-0 sweep against Health Sciences & Pharmacy (Mo.).

Set 1: Columbia 25 | Health Sciences & Pharmacy 19
After the Eutectics tied the set at 8-8, the Cougars scored the next seven points to take a 15-8 advantage. A Sidney Branson kill pushed the lead to 10 (22-12), but UHSP scored five of the next six points to close within five (24-19). Beyza Bektasoglu ended the set with a kill.
Set 2: Columbia 25 | Health Sciences & Pharmacy 17
The Cougars leaped out to a quick 11-6 lead, but UHSP climbed back to with two at 12-10. The two teams would trade blows, and the Cougars lead never increased over three points until a 5-1 run gave them a 21-15 advantage, leading to a UHSP timeout. After the timeout, the Euts scored the following two points before CC ended the set with four straight.
Set 3: Columbia 25 | Health Sciences & Pharmacy 14
Columbia was out to a 7-2 lead in the third set and never looked back, cruising to an 11-points set win. The Cougars hit .316 in the final game with 15 kills on 38 attacks and three attacking errors. Defensively, CC held the Euts to a -.027 hitting percentage (six kills, 37 attacks, and seven errors).
