Bellevue, Nebraska - The Columbia College Cougars ended play in the Marvel Classic hosted by Bellevue University with a three set sweep over the Trojans of (RV) Dakota State University.
Columbia, now 13-10 on the season, will play another non-conference contest on Tuesday as they play host to the #17 Pirates of Park University.
The Cougars led in every statistical category, most noticeably in service aces as they led 7-0 over the Trojans.
Katerina Pappa had an outstanding performance as she totaled 13 kills and only two errors on a .550 hitting percentage.
Allana Capella followed with 11 kills, hitting .409%.
Mariana De Carvalho added nine kills to go along with eight digs, while
Agatha Emanuelle had seven kills.
Hannah Vogt had a game-high 25 assists with five digs, while
Alexa Olson followed with 18 assists.
Clara Gower tied the game-high with 14 digs, with
Isabella Kincaid picking up 11 digs.
Jordan Starkey led the team in service aces as she totaled three.
