COLUMBIA, Mo. - The No. 23 Columbia College men's soccer team secured a win over Harris-Stowe State University (Mo.) in the Quarterfinals of the American Midwest Conference (AMC) Tournament this evening, 4-0.
With the win, No. 4-seeded Columbia advances to the AMC Semifinals to face No. 1-seeded William Woods University (Mo.) on November 9 at 7 p.m. in Fulton, Mo.
Earlier this year, the Cougars battled the Owls to a 0-0 draw.
In tonight's match up, Columbia outshot Harris-Stowe 17-7.
The Cougars also added 12 corner kicks, compared to one taken by the Hornets.

Alejandro Molto Munoz grabbed three saves in the contest.
Joshua Peterson scored one goal, contributing a career-high of two assists.
James McFarlane also added his first goal of the season.
