Columbia, MO - The Columbia College men's basketball team remained unbeaten in conference play after its 86-64 win over the Pioneers of Crowley's Ridge College tonight at home.
After his double-double tonight,
Collin Parker has moved to third in scoring and seventh in rebounds in Cougar men's basketball history.
The win moves the Cougars to 7-3 overall and 3-0 in conference play, while the Pioneers fall to 5-4 overall and 2-1 in the conference.
The Pioneers took the early lead and led by as many as nine in the first-half as the Cougars struggled offensively. Throughout the first-half, Columbia was just 6 of 22 from beyond the arc and 13-37 from the floor.
Seth Larson's 10 points in the first-half led the way for Columbia as the Cougars trailed at halftime, 37-35.
In the second-half, the offensive finally started to click for CC as they went 9-18 from the three and made 15 of 18 free throws.
Collin Parker registered 13 second-half points on 4-6 shooting from beyond the arc. The Cougar defense held the Pioneers to a 29% three-point shooting percentage as CRC shot 2-7 in the half.

Collin Parker with 23 points and 13 rebounds.
Seth Larson followed with 16 points, while Kai Steiman registered 11 points to go along with five assists.
Beau Washer contributed well with 10 rebounds, six points, five assists, and three steals.
