SIOUX CITY, Iowa - The No. 12 Columbia College women's soccer team opened the 2024 campaign today on the road against Briar Cliff University (Iowa), tallying their first win of the season.
Riley Porter scored a hat-trick to help lead the Cougars to 4-0 shutout against the Chargers.
Macie Lucas scored the first Columbia goal of the season, while also adding one assist.
Porter earned a career-high of three goals in a contest.
Columbia outshot Briar Cliff 24-2, with 13 shots on goal. The Cougars recorded nine corner kicks during the contest.
