Nevada, Mo. - Columbia College volleyball had a dominate performance on Tuesday night with 3-0 (25-19, 25-16, 25-12) sweep over Cottey College. The Cougars built momentum throughout each set, winning by increasingly larger margins.
Isabella Kincaid led the offense with eight kills, while
Viola Giangreco and
Kenedi Canty each added with six and five kills respectively. The Cougars were able to spread the offensive attack effectively across multiple players.
Hannah Vogt orchestrated the offense distributing 15 assists, while
Alexa Olson added 13 assists in the winning effort. From the service line,
Emma Faulconer and
Rita Marques added a combined of five aces.
Defensively,
Emma Faulconer and
Taylor Johnson anchored the back row with 11 and 15 digs respectively.
The Cougars will look to keep this momentum going as they head to Fulton, Mo. on Wednesday, Oct. 15th to face William Woods at 6:00 p.m.
