Columbia, MO - The Columbia College men's basketball team defeated the Spartans of Missouri Baptist University tonight at home as the Cougars recognized their nine seniors.
With the win, the Cougars have earned the #3-seed in the American Midwest Conference tournament and will host the #6-Seed Pioneers of Crowley's Ridge College. This AMC quarterfinal is scheduled for 7:00PM on February 27th.

The Cougars came out strong on offense to start the game as Columbia shot 50% from beyond the arc and registered 13 made three pointers to take a 55-35 lead at half.
The second half saw Missouri Baptist's defense hold Columbia to only five made three pointers, but it was still not enough as the Cougars rolled to a 93-67 win.
Collin Parker recorded his 14th double-double of the season with 26 points, 12 rebounds, four steals, and three blocks.
Kai Steinman followed with 16 points on 4-8 shooting from beyond the arc, also dishing out five assists.
Tommy Hafer totaled 13 points on 3-5 three point shooting, and
Seth Larson was also in double digits with 10 points and six rebounds.
