ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The Columbia College softball team continued American Midwest Conference (AMC) action against No. 16-ranked Missouri Baptist University this afternoon, taking game two of the doubleheader. The Spartans shutout the Cougars 9-0 in game one, while the Cougars rallied back to earn a 6-5 victory.
The Cougars move to 14-8 on the season and 5-1 in the AMC.

- Missouri Baptist picked up five runs in the contest, coming within one in the final inning of play

- Cassidy Avery and Rosalie Schneider produced doubles, each driving in one RBI

Columbia will return to action on the road against Hannibal-LaGrange University (Mo.) on April 1st. The doubleheader is set for 2:00 p.m.
