ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The Columbia College softball team continued American Midwest Conference (AMC) action against No. 16-ranked Missouri Baptist University this afternoon, taking game two of the doubleheader. The Spartans shutout the Cougars 9-0 in game one, while the Cougars rallied back to earn a 6-5 victory.

The Cougars move to 14-8 on the season and 5-1 in the AMC.

• The Spartans outhit the Cougars 13-7
• Comparatively, Columbia left six runners on, while Missouri Baptist left 12 on
• Cassidy Avery and Rosalie Schneider produced doubles, each driving in one RBI
• Kennedy Schanuth extended her hitting streak to 10 games
