HANNIBAL, Mo. - The Columbia College softball team picked up two wins this afternoon, taking on Hannibal-LaGrange University (Mo.). The Cougars added a 9-3 advantage in game one, while securing a 7-3 victory in game two.
Columbia improves to 16-8 on the season and 6-1 in the American Midwest Conference (AMC).

- Hannibal put two more runs on the board in the sixth, but Columbia held a 7-3 advantage to close out the contest
- Madyson Wear documented one triple and one double, going 3-for-4 at the plate. Wear drove in two RBI
- Rosalie Schneider also went 3-for-4 in the batters box, bringing in two runs
- Kennedy Jensen struck out eight batters, posting a new career-high
- Kennedy Schanuth extended her hit streak to 12 games
