MARSHALL, Mo. - The No. 4 ranked Columbia College women's soccer team battled to a 1-1 draw against Missouri Valley College in a match that showcased strong goalkeeping performances on both sides.
Missouri Valley took the early lead in the 7th minute, deeming the only goal of the first half. The Vikings stayed persistent in the final half, outshooting the Cougars 14-3.Â
Natalie Allison made six saves in the contest keeping the Cougars alive. Columbia's determination paid off in the 64th minute when
Macie Vincent scored the equalizer, assisted by
Brooke Williams.
