COLUMBIA, Mo. - The (RV) Columbia College women's soccer team delivered a statement performance at home, putting down a dominant 8-0 shutout over Dakota State. The Cougars improve to 3-4-1 on the season. Columbia controlled the match from start to finish, outshooting Dakota State 29-4 and posting 10 corner kicks to just one from the Trojans.
Georgia Pardalos led the offensive charge with two goals and two assists, adding her fourth goal of the season.
Hannah Shylanski also found the back of the net twice in the second half, while Madeleine Shylanski contributed a goal and three assists.
The scoring opened early with Delaynie Brown's first-half strike, assisted by Pardalos. The floodgates opened from there, with goals from Brooke Williams, Madison Lieberoff, and the Shylanski duo rounding out the dominant display.
Goalkeepers Natalie Allison and Abbie Summers split duties and combined for the clean sheet, with Columbia's defense limiting Dakota State to just four shots all match.
Columbia will return to action against Culver-Stockton College (Mo.) at home on October 1 at 4:30 p.m.
