COLUMBIA, Mo. - Columbia College baseball opened up their Three Teamer event this afternoon with two wins over William Woods 13-2, and Northwestern College 10-5. The Cougar offense dominated in both games with a combined 18 hits. The pitching staff kept opportunities limited for the Owls and Red Raiders striking out 16 on the day. 

With the win, the Cougars move to 6-4 on the season. 

Game One Statistical Leaders: 
CC def. WWU, 13-2 

• Ian Nolph finished 2-for-2 with a homerun, two RBI's, and two runs scored
• Braden Hemmer had a 3-run homerun in the sixth inning giving the Cougars a six-run lead
• Hunter Shoulta went 1-for-2 and drew two walks
• Tyler Renn, Zac Fruend, and Sutton Hanks all recorded hits in the win
• Pitching: 
  • Kolten Payne (W, 2-0): 6.0 IP, 1 ER, 5 SO
  • Cooper Swift: 1.0 IP, 1 H

• Hunter Shoulta hit a grand slam in the seccond inning 
• Tyler Renn finished 3-for-4 with two doubles 
• Eli Miller also contributed two hits and one RBI
• The Cougars had four stolen bases in the win
