COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Columbia College baseball team had a doubleheader today against the Pioneers of MidAmerica Nazarene. The Cougars split the day, winning game one 3-1 (7 inn.) and falling in game two 6-3 (7 inn.). Columbia moves to 7-5 on the season.
Game one was a pitching dual as both teams were held to only four hits apiece, but the Cougars were able to pull away with the win. Game two saw more offensive action led by homeruns from
Tyler Renn and
Eli Miller, but Columbia was unable to come back in the seventh.
