SHAWNEE, Okla. - The Columbia College softball team closed out the weekend at the NAIA Softball Invitational with a victory over Ottawa University this afternoon and a 3-2 record over the three-day stretch. The Cougars prevailed in a 1-0 victory against the Braves, led by Ella Schouten's 11 strikeouts on the day.
Columbia improves to 6-4 on the season. The Cougars return to action at the Top Gun Midwest College Classic in Shawnee, Kan. to face Kansas Wesleyan University. First pitch is set for February 27th at 2:30 p.m.
