WALNUT RIDGE, AR — The Columbia College softball team dropped a pair of games to Williams Baptist University on Saturday at WBU Softball Field, falling 3-0 and 5-4 in the doubleheader. The Cougars fall to 11-9 overall and 2-2 in conference play.

Game One: WBU def. Columbia College, 3-0

• Ella Schouten (L, 5-3): 6.0 IP, 5 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 2 BB, 8 SO
• Williams Baptist plated all three runs in the third inning
• Abigail Zismer and Cassidy Avery each finished 2-for-4 to pace Columbia's offense, with Avery adding a double in the sixth

• Kennedy Jensen: 6.0 IP, 5 H, 5 R, 3 ER, 1 BB, 1 SO; Megan Graver: 0.2 IP, 0 R; Micaiah Cordell (L, 2-3): 0.0 IP, 1 H, 0 R
• Columbia jumped in front 1-0 in the first on a Rosalie Schneider RBI single, but Williams Baptist responded with three runs in the bottom half
• The Cougars pulled within one in the second when Abigail Zismer singled home Kennedy Schanuth, then took a 4-3 lead in the fifth on back-to-back RBI singles from Cassidy Avery and Sophia Angel
• Williams Baptist rallied in the seventh, plating two runs on a walk-off single to right field to complete the comeback
• Rosalie Schneider went 3-for-4 with an RBI, and Kennedy Schanuth reached base all four times she came to the plate, going 3-for-3 with a walk
• Abigail Zismer added a 2-for-5 day with an RBI, while Liz Enlow contributed a stolen base and a hit in the loss
