Jack Dunn added a 3-for-4 effort with a double and an RBI, while Tyler Renn contributed a solo home run. Central Baptist briefly tied the game at 3-3 with a three-run third inning, but Columbia answered immediately and never looked back.Â
Eric Fields was strong on the mound, coming in relief in the third inning and delivering 6.2 innings of one-run ball, striking out three and generating 11 ground ball outs to shut down the Mustangs the rest of the way.
