COLUMBIA, Mo. — Faraj Shee scored three goals, the first hat trick of his career, to lead Columbia to a 4-0 win over Central Bible University (Mo.) on Saturday at R. Marvin Owens Field.
Shee opened the scoring in the 13th minute on a penalty kick, then doubled the lead in the 28th minute on an assist from Grant Buer. He completed the hat trick in the 63rd minute, converting a pass from Josh Sutton.
Buer added an insurance goal in the 83rd minute, assisted by Tyler Kromer.
Columbia outshot Central Bible 26-1 and did not allow a shot on goal, as goalkeeper Ricardo Fischbach recorded the shutout without needing a save.
The win pushed Columbia to 4-1 on the season. The Cougars return home Monday, Sept. 14, at 3:30 p.m. to host the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma at R. Marvin Owens Field.
