COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Columbia College men's soccer team rolled to a 7-0 win over Culver-Stockton College (Mo.) on Sept. 2 at Poulton Stadium in Canton, Missouri, improving to 3-1-0 on the season.
Alex Gatto opened the scoring in the ninth minute, and Daniel Kent added a second before halftime to make it 2-0. Columbia poured it on after the break, recording goals from Josh Sutton, a two-goal game from Parker Rainwater, and finishing with tallies from Grant Buer and Faraj Shee, the latter on a second-half penalty kick.
Goalkeeper Ricardo Fischbach earned the shutout, stopping both shots he faced to improve to 2-1 on the year. Columbia outshot Culver-Stockton 24-16 and won the corner-kick battle 7-3.

The Cougars return to action on the road on Sept. 5 at 2:00 p.m. against Graceland University (Iowa).
