Seward, Nebraska - The Cougars of Columbia College started their 2025 season today with a road contest against the Bulldogs of Concordia University. 

Columbia managed to find the back of the net once during the contest, which proved to be enough as they secured a 1-0 victory under first year Head Coach Nathan Mason.

The Cougars' defense stood strong throughout the match, limiting Concordia to just six shots total. 

The lone goal of the match came from Harry Stephen in the 21st minute of play.

In goal, Caden Hoff earned his first win as he recorded a clean sheet.

The Cougars are back in action next week as they play Missouri Valley College on the road on Tuesday, August 26th.
